Welcome to Masticulture, the ecotourism specialist of Chios

Since we opened our doors in 2007 we have worked hard to provide our customers with authentic experiences on Chios; experiences that explore the island’s culture and nature in the most imaginative and creative ways possible. Our goal was gradually reached with thousands of people having participated in our tours and with media and peers recognition: Lonely Planet’s guide to Greece soon listed Masticulture among the top 10 “green choices” for responsible vacations in Greece, while the Chios Chamber of Commerce awarded us with a special prize for innovation and for our efforts to promote sustainable tourism on the island.

In the course of almost 20 years, our business expanded, but also retracted during and after the Covid-19 season. Having kept a low-profile in terms of marketing in the last few years, in 2025 we gradually started offering tours again. The first tour we are re-launching is our flagship programme: Mastic-Mystique, the mastic harvest tour.
